Billingham is an unusual festival, bringing together around 10 groups and 400 performers each year from around the world. They come together to perform folklore dances and songs, which would otherwise be rarely seen outside their country of origin. For the 44th Festival, Billingham plays host to dancers and musicians from all corners of the Globe, from Agentina, Bulgaria, France, Mexico, New Zealand, Spain, Thailand and Ukraine.
