FORCE will be holding a 10k race at Powderham Castle on Sunday 12th September.

The event, sponsored by Francis Clark chartered accountants, starts in the Castle grounds, meanders along a pathway down to Powderham road, passing the yacht club and the church. A slight incline takes you up to Powderham woods which you run through before returning to the Castle and the end of your 10k race.

The event will start at 10:45 with a warm up before the race begins at 11am. This is a chip timed event with prizes for the first three men and women across the line. The prizes have been sponsored by Adidas.

A family run of approximately 2km will also be offered on the day. To express an interest in this event please contact forcefr@forcecancercharity.co.uk

There will be refreshments available on the day as well as reduced rates for entrants and their families to the Castle afterwards.

FORCE and Iron Bridge Runner are proud to announce that Adidas is confirmed as a sponsor for the FORCE 10k race on September 12th at Powderham Castle. Adidas will be providing the prizes for the first three men and women across the line. They will also be at Powderham on the day offering advice and sales.

On the A379 between Exeter and Dawlish, 6 miles south of Exeter. From the M5 it is about 8 miles. Leave at Junction 30 (Sandygate) and proceed towards Exeter joining the A379 in a southerly direction. Continue over the Countess Wear Roundabout. Take the first exit left on the A379, signposted to Dawlish, then follow Powderham Castle brown tourist signs. The castle entrance is in the village of Kenton, on the left hand side.

By bus: Catch number 85 bus from Exeter, Newton Abbot or Torquay.
By bike: From Exeter from the canal and Exe riverbank.
By boat: Catch the Starcross Ferry at Exmouth.
