Now famous through out the world, the BBC Proms is an annual music festival with over seventy Prom concerts. A Prom is short for “Promenade Concert”, where part of the audience stands in a "promenade" area of the hall. It’s one of England’s many essential Summer events and despite being over 100 years old still remains true to its original aim of presenting the widest possible range of music, performed to the highest standards, to large audiences.

Today there are still over 1,000 standing places available at each Prom. The traditionally low prices allow you to enjoy world-class concerts for just £5! The event takes place at the remarkable Royal Albert Hall in London.
